
I would like to share some tips here today. These are what I found out very effective if you are new to sales activities.
1. Find a strategic business partner that have the same objective. You can trade leads, share marketing info, sell package deals, or even share ideas about marketing effectively. The best method of today is blogging.
2. Brand your name and business by just writing articles and submitting them to e-zines or web sites for republishing. This will create your credibility and also the awareness of your products.
3. Remember to take a little time out of your day or week to brainstorm. New ideas are usually the difference between success and failure. Brainstorm can be difficult but if you do it in a group the result will surely have a great impact.
4. Model other successful business or people. I am not saying we need to out right copy them, but practice some of the same habits that have made them succeed. In other words, duplicating the success of others.
5. Take risks to improve your business, that is you have to spend some money to get results. If you do it correctly, you will gain the long run. Some little money for advertisement is a must in today’s business world, let it be online or conventionally.
6. Include emotional words in your advertisements like love, security, relief, freedom, happy, satisfaction, fun, etc. Tell people about your product or service that will give them financial and time freedom for example.
7. Ask people online to review your web site. You can use the comments you get to improve your web site or you may turn the reviewer into a customer. This is what I do using this blog, that is to review others and in return they will review my business.
8. Out source part of your workload like your secretarial work, accounting, marketing, designing of your website, etc. Outsourcing will save you time and also money in the long run.
9. Combine a product and service together in a package deal. This could increase your sales. If you’re selling a book, offer an hour of consulting with it. This is an excellent example to create your credibility.
10. Create a free ebook directory on a specific topic at your web site. People will visit your web site to read the free ebooks and may see your actual niche product ad. This will definitely create traffic and awareness not only on your website but on your niche product as well.
Tip to increase sales:
Create an alliance with 3 or 4 web sites. Include each of your ads or banners on the other web sites. You will all share targeted traffic with each other. For example, you would instantly have 3 web sites selling for you without paying them an affiliate income. You would just be giving them ad space on your web site.
