Rosli M Hanip as motivation
Guys this is an interesting topic to discuss here today. Don’t you think so? This got something to do with a current situation in Malaysia. Read on . . . .
We talk of ‘Born Leaders’, people who have that certain ‘X-Factor’ when it comes to decision making and leading others,
but I must dispel the myth right now that these are qualities which you cannot develop within yourself over time. Even the meekest, most humble little clerk can develop themselves into a lean, mean dealing machine with hard work and self-confidence. So if you’re reading this and think that this is all over your head, ask yourself: ‘Is that really what I want?’ So you want to be a follower all your life, obeying orders at every turn? I doubt you want to look back at your life and find that there’s nothing spectacular to note.
But back to what I consider to be important parts of a successful entrepreneur, I’ve found that a handful of key aspects prove to be the most noteworthy:
1. Bravery: Success is gained through innovation and trailblazing, not playing it safe and closet-mindedness. Truly great entrepreneurs will rather take a leap into the unknown rather than take a well-beaten track.
2. Focus: Having a thousand ideas a second may sound like a fantastic state, but it’s next to useless if you can’t develop a focused and concentrated state of mind. A single idea, focused to its maximum potential can outweigh a hundred half-baked initiatives.
3. Courage: To experience a setback or a failure is a disappointment, but to soldier on through it all, pick up the pieces and start again takes courage and determination. Too many people give up if they make a mistake, only a few are prepared to learn from them and turn them to their advantage.
4. Open-Mindedness: Closet-minded thinkers are typically the worst, unwilling to share with others or allow their vision to be altered. The best entrepreneurs know that they don’t know everything, and that for the best results, they need to leave their concepts bare for examination and judgment by those who know.
5. Methodical Care: The line between bravery and foolishness is preparation, a good idea rushed can do more harm than good. A good entrepreneur knows this and will take every care to ensure that their idea is fully thought out, tested, altered and re-tested before they commit to it.

1What a well written post!
I congratulate you sir. Every word makes complete sense and I agree with you absolutely.
Nobody is born with the skills to succeed in business. Becoming successful depends on a few basic skills, none of which have anything to do with where you come from, what religion you are, who your parents were, how well you did at school, or even how much money you have to start a business. Especially when it comes to runnung a business on the internet.
Lets prove the point with home business website owners.
You need very little in the way of money to start up a business from home. In fact, truth is, you can start with no money at all. Becoming an affiliate is a perfect example of that. And many a successful businessperson has built a website empire in exactly the same way.
I really do like what you say.
It does not matter if you are the small man, or women tha has the simpliest position in life. As long as you believe. As long as you show commitment and determinaction, and as long as you follow the essential rules for making money online, you will succeed, and that is a fact!
Thanks again for your inspiring post. I wish you great success for the future.
Sincerely,
John Adams

Thanks for your well written response. Another small tip that many forgot if you want to succeed online is “Just Do it” or in other words “Take Action”.
Nothing will come true if you do not have that. John, do visit again to share more ideas here.
Cheers.

A lot of people are wanabe entrepreneurs and ponder on the ideas that they have. You;ve brought up a very good point - to be focused is what we need. But to be honest, its also NOT an easy thing to do as entrepreneurs usually have a dozens of new ideas and strategies on their head.
I think the practical way is to pen down all your thoughts and then execute them on bit level. TO reach the top of a flight of stairs, we have to first take steps by steps…Writing down actionable items will go a long way!

4I have heard of the term “born leaders” so many times. But i think that leaders are made and NOT born. Certain born qualities may help a person stay ahead of the pack. But its definitely the process that makes a leader!
I also like what you said abt being open minded. Many times, i find it difficult myself to be open minded and letting people criticise my plans. Its a learning process for me and definitely good to hear from people like yourself, to drawn inspiration from .
thanks for those mentioned points. I’ll bookmark them to remind myself often.
Cheers

Thanks for visiting and sharing some thoughts here. Yup..leaders are not born but could be develop upon time if one is determine to be a leader. But leadership qualities should be there in order to succeed.

6Nice list. I like to consider myself and Entrepreneur. I think the two things that make me successful are self motivation and time management. I think a lot of people fail because they just don’t do stuff. First, you have to have the balls to get out there and try. If you don’t try, there is no way to be successful. Then you have to have the heart to keep pushing yourself consistently when things don’t go well. And to be effective, you have to manage everything really well.

7Many people make transition from employee to entrepreneur every year. Most of them fail because they are not ready to change. It is on a different league when you are working and starting your own business. I have noticed several important point you have to consider before becoming an entrepreneur.

8@ Scott & Mulan,
Cheers to both of you.
Whether it is self motivation, time management, consistency or self belief, all these are qualities within yourself to become successful.
There are no other factor that is important for success except in YOU. Build your innner strength then off you go, you see the world with more confident.
Comeback when you have done that.
All the best.
