Hey guys, guess what? After almost a year I am using Wimax the service in my area simply superb. In fact I subscribe two package, ie, home plus (for my home) and wiggy69 (for my road warrior activity). I think IT as a whole is still in its infancy. But with the way the economy is shaping up these days, it could take a long time to see daylight for most new projects

I think p1 wimax is really moving very fast. they might even the number one choice for malaysians. there must be a reason why intel is willing to invest that much in a local company.

Yup, we shall wait and see what is really behind the investment. In Malaysia, in general the broadband services are not to the standard where we could have a super duper fast connection and service. With Wimax I doubt it will add extra juice the the world of broadband in Malaysia. But a citizen and a public who use internet a lot I do hope the service will improve with leap and bounce.

I really question this investment by Intel Capital as I do not expect to see the WiMax technology being deployed in KL being profitable or even in place in 3 years.
