Guys, sorry for not posting few days now since I was quite busy with my office work and also during the weekend I busy reading a new book. The title is “Don’t Be Sad“.

Okay, back to our topic, my last posting was about “What it takes to be your own boss” so today we discuss about Do what you like best. Success does not come easy. Success comes with a lot of hard time, a lot of sacrifice and a lot stress. These are what we learned so far in our education system when we talk about Success.

BUT, would you agree if I rephrase, Life is meant to be free and fun! Your business must enhance your life, not run it. Work less than 6 hours a day in running your business but drawing a CEO or a MD income. Believe it or Not!

Here is the simplified formula to make a “happy” entrepreneurs:

  1. Do work which matters to you;
  2. Which allows you to earn the money you need;
  3. To live the life you want.

The truth is, you could actually work at something you like (or know well enough to be called an expert) and earn from it all the money you need to be able to do the things you want to. By choosing the kind of business that is right for you, whatever you want out of life can be yours. DO you agree? This is true.

Now you may ask, how can I achieve my financial goals without turning into a work-machine? The answer is that you learn about yourself, decide what’s really important, discover your passion and finally select the right course to get what you want.

Here are the tips, about asking yourself before embark your journey to owning your own business:

  1. Do I have the desire to succeed in life? The desire here refers to the propelling drive that makes you want to do something desperately.
  2. Do I believe I can be successful? The believe here refers to blind faith, without a drop of self-doubt.
  3. Am I willing to take non-stop action until my goals are achieved even when my actions do not produce results? The action here refers to taking endless efforts to achieve the desired result within the desired time frame. This what I called “will power”.

Wow, am I going too fast. Hope not. Follow me closely here. Whether or not you have decided which business to venture in (or you are currently running a business), I figure that there has to be more to life than work. It seems obvious to me that life would be much easier if your business is involved doing what you love doing.

Do something you hate just for money, you are heading nowhere near “an ideal happy land” but more stress!

I am sure you get into business not because you wanted to merely make profit but you wanted also the lifestyle and most important of all, the time you need to enjoy your life you choose. Like me I have time with my family, time to go to the mosque, time to deeper my studies about islam, time to read books like “Laa Tahzan“, and many more time! Some people said 24 hours is not enough to do more things but I could do multiple task within the 24 hours! including 6 hours of sleep.

How to do it? One of the most powerful business strategies that allow anyone in any business to achieve greater profit and abundance time is “Leverage through automation and outsourcing!”

Success in today’s business in neither about the revenue generated, not the number of staffs you hire, not the number of business outlets you own. It is about higher profitability, lesser working hours, coupled with lower fixed overheads (monthly expenses or cash outflow that you need to commit inevitably!) For this reason, the most ideal approach is implementing automation as much as you could and outsource whatever you could. Both will reduce your startup costs exponentially and minimize your running cost as your business is up and running.

Okay guys, I will give you a break and start thinking about these two things:

  1. automation, and
  2. outsourcing

Tomorrow I shall elaborate more about these two important factors. Meantime if you have ideas on these two factors, share them with me here.

Advice for today: “stay focus” and “be happy”.
